ICP "Where's God?" Video Premiere 03/22

ICP Tour Kicks
Off Early May

Relaunch 04/18

Family Focus

The anticipation for the debut album from Legz Diamond & The Purple Gang has been steadily growin’ and in a few short days, on Tuesday March 19th, the patience of the ‘Los and ‘Lettes will pay off. Though, we know y’all haven’t simply been waitin’ for an album from Legz Diamond since early 2013. This is a project that has been YEARS in the making and now for us to see it come to light is a karma boost like none other.

For those who need a little knowledge dropped, allow us to assist. Legz Diamond has been working with the Insane Clown Posse for around twenty years now give or take. He has been an absolute asset behind the scenes lending his fire startin’ guitar work to tracks as well as his crazy talented voice work. From skits to hooks and more, if you’ve liked an album in the Insane Clown Posse catalog in the last twenty years then you’ve already heard some of Legz Diamond’s work.

What has set Legz Diamond apart from many others who have worked with ICP is that he was never out for self. He wanted what was best for his wicked clown brothers and diligently put it down, selflessly and without question with a flair that only Legz could possess. Not only has he always been dead fuckin’ serious as his role as an extension of the Insane Clown Posse, but he is a down ass Ninja and Homie time and time again.

Now it’s his time to shine. Legz Diamond earned this chance and when given this opportunity he turned to two other well known affiliates of The Hatchet, Jumpsteady and Sugar Slam. Jumpsteady has been an influence on Violent J long before the running man ever came to light, brothers in the dark carnival, Juggalo army, and by blood. His talents have previously been featured on his solo albums, Master of the Flying Guillotine and The Chaos Theory. Sugar Slam has lent her angelic vocal work to album after album for Psychopathic bringing the softer side mixed with a deadly edge you would expect from any well respected Juggalette.

Combined they create Legz Diamond & The Purple Gang and their debut offering to the ‘Los and ‘Lettes worldwide is 9 Pistolas. This is unlike anything you’ve ever heard from Psychopathic before and that’s got us excited as fuck. While our path always runs along the underground, led by the wicked shit, it’s fresh as hell to be able to present something to the Juggalos and Juggalettes that is completely unheard of and brand fuckin’ new.

Legz Diamond has been puttin’ it down in music for so long that his inspiration from various genres is expansive and this is completely evident on this album. From the familiar sounds of hardcore hip-hop the album seamlessly transitions amongst the likes of funk, R & B, folk, and plenty more. It’s all set in the times of prohibition, Tommy guns, and the willingness to do whatever it takes to establish your reign as the baddest motha facko around. As we keep saying, this is unlike anything that has been put out by The Hatchet before and we know there will be Ninjas absolutely salivating over what Legz Diamond & The Purple Gang bring on this album.

9 Pistolas will be droppin’ worldwide on Tuesday, March 19th. This means you can pick up this album at your local big box store or you can even hit up hatchetgear.com right now to put in your pre-order. Don’t miss out on the debut album from Legz Diamond & The Purple Gang!

1 - ICP's "WHERE'S GOD?"

The Insane Clown Posse paired with the masters of the Psychopathic Records Video Department have always delivered jaw dropping content when their forces are combined, and NEXT FRIDAY you’ll be able to witness the next addition to the ICP Music Video Catalog.

The highly anticipated “Where’s God?” music video will be released upon the public March 22nd through insaneclownposse.com and hatchetmantv.com! It’s the latest offering from the wicked clowns off their album, The Mighty Death Pop!

While we can’t pass out any details about what you can expect, we can tell you that it was filmed locally in Hamtramck, Detroit, and involved the participation of A LOT of Juggalos.

Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope have been working hard to put out music video after music video for the ‘Los and Lettes and we have gotten word about FIVE upcoming music videos that are in the works. Yep, you read that right. FIVE ICP music videos slated to be released over time.

They are, IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER, “When I’m Clownin’,” “Ghetto Rainbows,” “Mighty Death Pop,” “Bazooka Joey,” and “Forever.” While there are no other release dates and info on these music videos in the works, we suggest you keep checking back here on the Hatchet Herald and insaneclownposse.com for those to be released.

Everyone is talking about wanting to see the Insane Clown Posse on tour for The Mighty Death Pop album and we don’t blame them. Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope put on one of the most magnificent stage shows in the music industry and we’re just as stoked about seeing them live as everyone else is.

There was a wrench thrown into themselves, they have given word that they are themselves, they have given word that they are Although he

performed during The Riddle Box Show on Juggalo Weekend with the injury, he didn't feel it was right to tour with the injury because it would make it difficult to give ‘Los and ‘Lettes the show they not only wanted to see and expected to see, but deserved to see.

The good news is that Violent J received the date for his simple surgery to repair his knee and given the amount of time he needs to recover it means that the Insane Clown Posse 2013 Tour will be on the road in early May!

With this tour you can expect some big changes in the works including ICP touring with artists they have never toured with before and tons of massive surprises. Before anyone starts to worry, you will still be able to see plenty of Faygo, a wicked clown army, and dancing zombies. Some things are way too trademark to ever change and those are the things that make an ICP show!

Also, straight from ICP themselves, they have given word that they are dead set on getting into Canada in the next twelve months. While Shaggy 2 Dope’s legal issues

have previously made that a problem, there is word that he will be getting off probation within the next few months and they will work diligently to cross the border. Although this has been said before, ICP are dedicated to this cause and promise they will work to make it happen.

When ICP do make it over into Canada, this isn’t going to be them playing one night in Toronto or somethin’. They will be puttin’ it down in a full eight city Canadian Tour as soon as it is possible.

Stay tuned to insaneclownposse.com because once tour dates are available they'll be posted there. Also keep checking in on the Hatchet Herald for everything you need to know about what's in store for the 2013 ICP Tour!

Many people have been curious about the state of Psychopathic Radio and we are here to let you know what the fuck is goin’ on! Psychopathic Radio has been going through an absolute overhaul from top to bottom in every sense of the word. It has been a long, hard process but there is now a very fresh light at the end of the tunnel.

The totally revamped Psychopathic Radio will be launching on Thursday, April 18th! This includes a new format, new shows, new hosts, a new studio, a new website… Like we said, we’re guttin’ it out and buildin’ it

from the bottom up to give the Juggalos and Juggalettes some absolutely devastating flavor to sink their teeth into every Tuesday and Thursday.

We know you guys miss Psychopathic Radio, so do we. But once this relaunch takes place on April 18th you’ll see that it was worth the wait!

It was in October when the Hatchet Herald began putting attention on the Trials and Tribulations of the Juggalos and Juggalettes worldwide through the Family Focus section. It was even earlier than that when Psychopathic Records launched juggalosfightback.com as a place for Ninjas worldwide to be able to share their personal stories about how the FBI listing Juggalos as a gang affected them, their family, and their lives.

Everytime we put out the call to Juggalos and Juggalettes for them to share their stories, we included two simple words that mean a lot to us. BE HEARD!! We wanted our Homies everywhere to raise their voices that so many are attempting to take away. It’s such a scary thought because even though one Juggalo being silenced here and one Juggalette being told to sit down there might not seem like much, it’s when you idly stand by and do nothing that the trend progresses and by the end no one is standing up to speak for themselves.

We wanted the Juggalos and Juggalettes to be heard. For them to say WE WILL NOT TAKE THIS WITHOUT A FIGHT! They are impeding on our rights as a whole for crimes a majority of us did not commit and as HUMAN BEINGS this is not acceptable. It begins with such simple things... Being told you can’t wear your Hatchetman necklace in school. You can’t rep an Insane Clown Posse shirt at the mall. You lose your job because of the music you listen to. You’re unable to serve your country because of a tattoo you’ve had for years. You are continually treated like a second class citizen because YOU found a place to belong within the Juggalo Family.

If we allow these injustices to happen little by little without batting a lash, it’s only a matter of time before the line in the sand is demolished and there is no stopping those who hold positions of authority from continuing to try to take away our voice and our right to be heard. THAT is why it is so important for us to point out the wrong doings and say this WILL NOT continue under our watch.

The Insane Clown Posse and Psychopathic Records took a major stand and demanded attention to their plight when they sued the FBI. There was no backing down, there was no letting it slip, and doing nothing was not even an option. The people that they care about, the people who have had their backs from the beginning through thick and thin, were being labeled as a gang and dealing with the consequences of that and they knew that it was time to rally.

The most amazing part in all of this is the response Juggalos, Juggalettes, and Psychopathic Records have been getting for their efforts. There are so many times when the masses as a whole will take any chance to jab at the Juggalo Family even when we are being sincere in what we’re saying (Miracles, anyone?). But this time around? Not only are the Juggalos being HEARD, but they are being agreed with!

Countless news sources nationwide have heard about the FBI’s ridiculous claims about the Juggalos and the opinion on the matter is that the FBI has abused their power by listing so many innocent people as gang members. There are bad apples in every large group whether it’s ICP’s Juggalos, Justin Bieber’s Beliebers, or Lady Gaga’s Monsters. As of the printing of this article the Beliebers and Monsters have not been declared gang members.

While news outlets have been following the story of ICP VS. FBI since even before August of 2012 and majority of them hold the tone of “are you kidding us?” it’s the most recent articles that have really pointed out the

absurdity of the FBI’s claims. The most valuable effort in our eyes is that of muckrock.com. Muckrock is the only public records request service of its kind who focuses on doing the dirty work of filing Freedom of Information Requests. Their sole purpose is to wade through the red tape, get to vital information, and make it public to hold the government accountable for their actions. These are our sorts of people!

Through their efforts it was pinpointed that “The Gang Threat Assessment report cited two assaults that occurred a year apart in two different states as examples of organized violent activity.” Two assaults, two different states. While horrible, these do not give off the air of anything very organized but instead two separate incidents that are simply linked by a similar interest in music.

We aren’t the only ones rolling our eyes as The Huffington Post gets in on the story by stating clearly that the investigations goals “arguably fall short of proving that the Juggalos are an organized gang.”

Even before reading an article posted on theatlanticwire.com you can clearly get a feel for their opinion when the title of the article reads “The FBI Might Be a Little Too Scared of the Juggalos.”

Same for wired.com that lays it all out there with the article title you can practically hear sighing “Two Drug Busts Made the FBI Think Insane Clown Posse Fans Were a Gang Threat.”

The list of news outlets covering the story of the Insane Clown Posse suing the FBI and the FBI’s lofty claims about their fanbase is absolutely mind blowing. Even though some go so far as to say they are not fans of the music put out by the Insane Clown Posse and the Psychopathic Records roster, they are able to point out a wrong doing when it has occurred.

Other outlets that have covered the incident are… The Salt Lake Tribune, Metrotimes, Denver Westword, Russia Today, Noisecreep, Spin, CBS News, FuseTV, AbaJournal, Michigan Radio, Death & Taxes Magazine, Slate, Lawyers.com, Canberra Times, TinyMixtapes.com, Chicagoist, Slatester, The Hollywood Gossip, Perez Hilton, Digital Spy, Pollstar, Myspace, Examiner, Rollingstone, SFExaminer.com, The Detroit Free Press, Star Pulse, NBC News, Gawker, Zimbio, AV Club, Artisan News Service, CourthouseNews.com, Reason.com, BoingBoing, ProWrestling.net, and countless others.

While this road of ICP VS. FBI will not be easy by any means, and the persecution of our Juggalo Family will not instantly stop anytime soon, there is one vital piece of information to take from all of this and to hold onto through these rough times of being a Juggalo and Juggalette. YOUR VOICE IS IMPORTANT. Sometimes, it’s all you have. And while one voice might not seem like much to many, it’s when that one voice joins with another… and another… and another… and so on. THAT is amazing changes occur.

Remember, Juggalos and Juggalettes… BE HEARD.
