As Juggalos and Juggalettes might remember, in the last edition of the Hatchet Herald our top story was focused on Sugar Slam’s Super Live Toy Drive! This is Sugar Slam and Psychopathic Records asking the ‘Los and ‘Lettes of the world to step up to donate new toys, scarves, gloves, and hats to families in need for the holiday season.

Well, even in the short amount of time that this news has been unleashed, the response has already been off the fuckin’ charts! You guys are doin’ it in a big fuckin’ way, y’all! The Psychopathic Records P.O. Box has been regularly filled to the brim with the donations of dope ass Juggalos from all over the globe! It’s un-fuckin’-believable!

So, in celebration of the stellar job everyone has been doin’ so far we decided to use our super sleuth skills to get you guys somethin’ really nice for this edition of the Hatchet Herald. It’s a little taste of what you can look forward to for your dope good deeds unto others!

What we have for you is the full tracklisting of The Hatchet Family Presents Holiday Heat! This is the CD that all Juggalos donating to Sugar Slam’s Super Live Toy Drive can look forward to getting in the mail as a big ass thank you for your help!

It’s a rarities album with every holiday song done by a Psychopathic Records and Hatchet House artist! It has classic old shit goin’ back as far as “Santa’s a Fat Bitch” and it even has some brand new tracks NO ONE has ever heard before! This shit is goin’ to flip wigs so hard, but Sugar Slam and Psychopathic knew they had to make something devastatingly special in appreciation of the Juggalos.

So, without further ado we’re goin’ to break this shit down for you song by song!

1. Santa's a Fat Bitch – Insane Clown Posse:
Like we said, this album is goin’ all the way back to the old school shit. Everyone should know this song from the A Carnival Christmas EP which was originally released in 1994! We can’t imagine startin’ a Psychopathic Records holiday rarities album off any other way!

2. Decorate Your Christmas Tree – Twiztid & Blaze:
Without a doubt, it wouldn’t be the holidays without Twiztid and Blaze spittin’ some of that wicked shit at all the fine ladies out there who keep their tree nice and trim not just throughout the Christmas season, but all year long. This song was originally released on Twiztid’s Cryptic Collection holiday album given away online and at Ballas in 2008. But if the Christmas Tree reference has got your innocent fuckin’ mind a lil’ confused, just make sure you donate and snag this album then everything will be crystal clear, Homie.

3. I Hate Santa Claus – Insane Clown Posse & ABK:
Damn, Juggalos! This is another song that has never been pressed before! This collabo between Violent J, Shaggy 2 Dope, and ABK was strictly a holiday giveaway that everyone was able to download from insaneclownposse.com back in 2003. And now it’s comin’ straight at you on this sweet ass Holiday Heat album!

4. X-Mas List – AMB:
Now this is some wicked flavor for your Holiday Heat album! When AMB heard about this bomb ass CD that was being put together for the kind hearted Juggalos and Juggalettes they decided to duck into the studio and record a brand new track to add to the list! So, this shit has NEVER been heard and the only way you’ll ever be able to have it in hand is on the Holiday Heat album!

5. Red Christmas – Insane Clown Posse:
Straight from brand new to a fuckin’ classic! This is another song from the A Carnival Christmas EP from waaaay back in the day. When people think of the Insane Clown Posse doin’ the damn thang on a holiday song, this is the shit that comes to mind! We’re tellin’ you!

6. Rydas Holiday – Psychopathic Rydas:
You know it wouldn’t be a Psychopathic album without the fuckin’ Rydas gettin’ in on this shit! Nothin’ says “holiday spirit” like bandanas and rollin’ in black trucks. This song was originally released on Twiztid’s Cryptic Collection Holiday Edition CD given away in 2008.

7. Psycho Killer – Twiztid:
When it comes to a Hatchet Holiday it’s not always about Christmas Trees and Santa Claus. Murder is murder three-sixty-five and it doesn’t take a day off for Christmas! That’s what we learned in this song, released on Twiztid’s Cryptic Collection Holiday Edition CD in 2008!

8. Santa Killas – Insane Clown Posse, Mike E. Clark, & Fink:
As you may or may not know, the A Carnival Christmas EP which was originally released in 1994 was reissued again in 1997, but with two songs missing from the tracklisting. And THIS was one of those cut songs! But now it’s emerging from the shadows to find its place on Holiday Heat!

9. My Favorite Things – Jamie Madrox & Blaze:
There’s not a lot we can say about this song. It was released on the 2008 Cryptic Collection Holiday Edition and you just have to listen to this shit to believe it. You’ll be laughin’ your ass off, bet!

10. Kill Santa Man – ABK:
ABK is gettin’ into the hatchet holiday swing by recording a BRAND NEW song specially made for this album. Another song that you’ve never heard before and won’t be able to grip unless you donate to Sugar slam’s Super Live Toy Drive!

11. Waiting on Christmas Gifts – Twiztid, Blaze, Violent J, & Syn:
You know it’s goin’ to be a good Christmas album when you’ve got the big names of Psychopathic Records throwin’ down on one song, backed by a familiar beat that majority of the Juggalos should be able to recognize. We won’t get much further than that for legal reasons, but we do know that this album was another track from Twiztid’s Cryptic Collection Holiday Edition from 2008!

12. Skanta Claws – Insane Clown Posse, ABK, Twiztid, & Syn:
Here’s another big collaboration that brings out the heavy hitters of the Hatchet! This track is quite the rarity as it was only given away online back in 2003!

13. Sad Christmas Song – Twiztid & Blaze:
Sometimes Christmas is just a sad fuckin’ time, Juggalos. We hate to say it, but it’s the truth. But there are always ways to handle those bad times. To find out more, just listen in to this track that was originally released on the 2008 Cryptic Collection Holiday Edition.

14. Hatchet House – Insane Clown Posse, Boondox, Twiztid, & Blaze:
DAMN! ICP, Twiztid, Blaze, and Boondox all on one track!? Meeeerry Fuckin’ Christmas and shit up in here! This is a big track that was given away for the holidays in 2006 and is a prized piece to add to the Holiday Heat album!

15. Silent Night – Mike E. Clark:
Silent Night. Holy SHIT! Mike E. Clark is rounding out the Holiday Heat album with this brand new song specially recorded just for this occasion. We were lucky enough to get to listen to the song and we’re just going to be straight up with you Juggalos. This has to be one of the most twisted holiday songs we’ve heard. It’ll mind fuck you and give you goose bumps! We can’t even describe it more than that. It’s impossible. You’ll just have to wait to hear it!

Damn, Juggalos! Now that is quite the tracklisting the Holiday Heat album has got goin’ on! Sugar Slam and Psychopathic Records went all out when it came to gatherin’ up tracks for this CD to make sure that no Juggalo with a big fuckin’ heart was left wanting after donating to the Super Live Toy Drive! So, go out! Grab your brand new toys, hats, scarves, and gloves and send them Psychopathic Records' way so you can call this album your own!

Hatchet Herald Page 4 November 24, 2010

It’s an echoing beat thumping loudly in your eardrums, adding depth and warmth to the Native American tune wafting around your dome. It’s brutal honesty at its best. It’s life changing agony paired with a determined lift of the chin, showing that nothin’ can hold you down. It’s inspiration with an edge. And it’s a solemn, violent promise to anyone who dare tread on a fuckin’ warrior’s happiness.

It’s ABK. And it’s the era of the Medicine Bag.

The path of ABK throughout the years has been long with many ups and downs. And all that has led him to where he stands right now, one of the damn leaders of the underground music movement along with his brothers at Psychopathic Records! And homie, it’s a fuckin’ good place to be.

This is made clear by the direction of ABK’s latest album. While it still has that murderous mood you would expect from one of the Psychopathic lunatics, it also contains many tracks that take on a more motivating air. But this wasn’t done on accident. ABK had a very clear goal in his head when he set out to record Medicine Bag. He himself has said about the album, “I wanted give it a happier vibe, and try to uplift spirits.”

With this theme in mind he worked long and hard in the studio, partnering with producer Brian Kuma, a longtime contributor to Psychopathic Records. The mesh between artist and producer was practically instantaneous as the duo set forth to create a masterpiece pushing ABK farther than he has ever gone before.

All the time and effort has, without a doubt, paid off. Now that the album has been unleashed unto the world, the full magnitude of what ABK has accomplished with his latest release can be appreciated to the fuckin’ fullest by Juggalos and the general public.

Violent J also had a strong opinion on the album when he was quoted saying “Half the songs on Killa’s record catch the very magic that we strive for everyday in the studio.”

We understand where he’s coming from, ‘Los and ‘Lettes. We’ve personally given Medicine Bag quite a few listens and it’s clear that ABK laid himself out on this record for all to see. He put a lot of blood, sweat, anger, fears, and more onto this disc.

It has created something so charmingly, and at the same time, alarmingly honest that after the last track has finished you might feel like you just witnessed something you weren’t supposed to. As if this CD wasn’t meant for your earbuds because it was so personal. But you realize you can relate to what ABK is sayin', then you decide that you have to listen to it again! And again! And again!

And if you haven’t been fortunate enough to hear the latest and greatest from ABK? What are you waiting for!? Time to beg, borrow, and steal, Homie! Because this is an album worth gettin’ your hands on! As we said, it’s the era of the Medicine Bag. And It’s ABK’s time to shine!
